Easterside Farm Bed and Breakfast

Helmsley, Yorkshire

Set amidst splendid unspoilt countryside on the edge of the picturesque village of Hawnby in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Easterside Farm is a large eighteenth century grade II farmhouse offering excellent accommodation and good home cooking. Nestling on the side of Easterside Hill, it enjoys panoramic views of the dale.

The farmhouse has one double en-suite room, one twin bedded en-suite room and a family room with a private bathroom which sleeps 4. Across the yard there is a converted barn which boasts two more en-suite rooms. The Granary, a double room with a brass bedstead and The Carthouse, another family room which sleeps up to 5.

All rooms are tastefully decorated and have DAB radio alarms and tea/coffee making facilities. In the evening guests are welcome to relax in the residents' lounge with its homely log burner. Here guests may watch television or simply relax with a good book after a full day exploring the area. We are honoured to be awarded walking friendly, dark skies friendly, cycling friendly and nature friendly statuses by the North York Moors National Park.

A traditional Yorkshire breakfast of English bacon, Helmsley sausage, our own free range eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and fried bread is served in the dining room. Also available are fruit, fruit juice, a selection of cereals and toast with homemade preserves.
