There are lots of attractions around Looe, and the rest of Cornwall is no more than an hour and a half away.
Attractions include Pinetum Gardens just on the edge of St Austell, Cotehele House (run by the National Trust) near Saltash, The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Not to mention numerous other gardens and quaint little fishing towns dotted along the the coastline.
